Altered Kaisercraft Desk Calendar

 Hi there!

So I've finally had a minute to spare to share a project I made recently.  I can see why they call it the silly season, I seem to be chasing my tail at the moment.  I'm hoping you all had a lovely Christmas with loved ones and even managed to get a little spoilt!!  I know I was we are off to Melbourne next week and I scored a nice big lovely voucher to spend at Kaisercraft, so looking forward to that lol!!! So I may not be around for the next couple of weeks, hopefully things will be back to normal in February!!

Anyway the project I wanted to share with you this evening is a Kaiser BTP Desk Calendar I altered.  I have made this as a thank you gift for a friend, thinking I may have to make myself one, they are great.

Turtle Soup December DT Projects -12 Days of Christmas

Hi there!

This month over at Turtle Soup we have a 12 Days of Christmas Mini Crop.  These are my two projects for the challenge.

For my first DT project I made a Gift Card Holder,  I got the idea here from Kim O'Connell, such a quick and easy Christmas Project.

WOW Chipboard December DT Projects & Photo Tutorial

Hi there!

This morning I have my projects to share with you I did this month for my DT work for WOW Chipboard including a little photo tutorial.
First up is the layout I created which has the short photo tutorial.

"Stunning"

To create my background I started by using the 6 x6 Moroccan Stencil ALTA138 with some texture paste and randomly applied it on my page.

Once that was dry I grabbed a couple of Heidi Swapp Colour Shine sprays similar colours to my patterned papers and sprayed these over my page.

I also took the spray top off so I could drip some large spots over my page.

Next up I took one of Kaisers stamps, the grid pattern and randomly stamped it over my page with black ink.

I cut up a piece of WOW Chicken wire WOW1636 which I left raw and then positioned this on my page.

I then started to put my page together by embellishing it with lots of yummy blooms and a butterfly or too.  My other two pieces of WOW Chipboard that I used on this page was the word "Stunning" WOW2095 which I sponged which gesso, and the Groovy Frames WOW1867 which were sprayed with Heidi Swapp sprays also.

Next up to show you is a couple of cards I made using some of my left over papers.

The yummy WOW products that I used are the Mini Hearts & Wire Panel WOW2257 and a New Release panel which I painted with black paint, 6 Inch Mesh Border WOW2135 which I left raw and lastly the WOW Groovy FramesWOW1867 which I sponged a couple of coats of Gesso over them.
