Shop and Crop Scrapbooking April DT Second Share

 Hi there!

Today I wanted to share with you a couple of projects I created as part of my April DT work at Shop and Crop Scrapbooking.

First up I have my beautiful layout!

Products Used:

Kaiser Smooth White Cardstock
MME's Hooray Collection
Green Tara and Manor House Flowers
Kaiser Stencil Damask Quarters
Kaiser Mists
Cocoa Vanilla Bits and Pieces Pack
Dusty Attic Chipboard

To create the background I used one of Kaiser's 12 x 12 templates - Damask Quarters with texture paste and then randomly sprayed Kaiser Mists over it!  To get the flickers of Mists I removed the lid and just tapped the squirter piece until I was happy with the additional colour on my page. Then finished off the layout with bit and pieces from the Love Always Pack, some stickers from the MME Hooray Collection and Green Tara Flowers.

My last share is a card I made using left over pieces from the MME Hooray Collection I embellished it with a few gorgeous little Wood Veneer Pieces I received in my DT kit!
To finish off the card I have added a few flowers from my stash and some flicks of Picket Fence Distress Stain Spray.

Well that's all from me today!  Don't forget about our gorgeous Mood Board challenge we have, there is still a few days to enter and maybe win yourself a fabulous prize.......
If your stopping over at the  at the Shop and Crop store be sure to use the code TR5 so you can get $5 off your purchase, how awesome is that?

Shop and Crop Scrapbooking First DT Share

Hi there!

Exciting day today, it's my first share for  Shop and Crop Scrapbooking  as part of their DT. First up  is a layout I created for the current Mood Board Challenge..... isn't it just gorgeous, love the colours :)  Are you going to play along, would love to see your creations in the challenge gallery?

"Big Memories"

Products Used:

Bazzill Cardstock
Kaiser Smooth White Cardstock
Bo Bunny Petal Lane Papers
Kaiser 12 x 12 Grunge Template
Kaiser Mists
Cheery Lynn
Flourish Die
Dusty Attic Chipboard
49 & Market and Green Tara Flowers

Here's a little peak at what why background looked like before I added any papers or embellishments. To start my background I first primed it with gesso as this helps strengthen your base paper especially when spraying water onto it and also helps with your sprays adhering to it. I used the Kaiser 12 x 12 Grunge Template the Alphabet Section! I randomly applied this using texture paste to my Kaiser White Cardstock.
*Just a little tip when I purchase these templates with the four different patterns I cut them into individual templates this way it is easier to position where I want it on my project and also there is no risk of having your medium spread through another of the patterns onto you work!
I then spritzed my page with water and used the Kaiser Yellow and Pink Mists, starting with the pink and adding the yellow last as a brighter colour and can easily be sprayed over the pink if needed extra coverage.

As part of my DT pack I was sent some gorgeous papers by My Mind's Eye - Hooray Collection and I created this layout using some papers and also the sticker sheet from it!  I made the background using one of Kaiser's new Mini Designer Templates - Bubbly, which I randomly used with some texture paste over my background paper, and to give it a little colour some  Kaiser's Pink Mist.  I embellished my page with lots of flowers and goodies from the Cocoa Vanilla Bits & Pieces Pack.
