Altered Christmas Wreath - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Hi there!

Just popping in to share my first project for 2 Crafty Chipboard Design Team for November.  I have altered a Christmas Wreath that I picked up from Kmart for my first share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Poinsettia Set

*Merry Christmas Title

*Holly Twig Branches

*Celebration Swirls

The wreath before I altered it.

I coloured the Poinsettia chippies with a mixture of Kaisercraft Red Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays and the edges I painted with Brush Leaf Interior Antique Gold Paint.  The Holly Twig Branch chippies I coloured with Kaisercraft Rose Gold Iridescent & Gold Shimmer Sprays.  The Celebration Swirl chippies have been coloured with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color Shine and the Merry Christmas chippie I coloured with Kaisercraft Gold Shimmer Spray.

To construct the wreath I added all my Poinsettia chippie pieces first and then added my paper blooms.

I then tucked in the Holly Twig Branch chippies amongst the Poinsettia chippies and paper blooms.  I kept some of them as is and some of them I cut into pieces.

I add the Merry Christmas chippie title along the bottom of the Wreath and finished if off by randomly dabbing on some gesso onto the Wreath, chippie pieces and paper blooms to give it a snow like effect.

Rust & Rose Cards - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for October for 2 Crafty Chipboard.   I have created a set cards for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Card - Word Circle Set - Happy Birthday

*Foliage Set 15

*6" Doily Border

*Frame Doilies

I created each of my card bases using the gorgeous new Mintay "Rust & Rose" Paper Collection. 

I coloured the Happy Birthday, Frame Doily & Doily Border chippie pieces with Heidi Swapp Raspberry Color Shine Spray.   I then used Heidi Swapp Mustard Color Shine Spray to colour the Foliage chippie pieces.  

To construct each of the cards I added either a Frame Doily which I cut in half or the Doily Border chippies to each.  I 

then embellished them paper blooms. I tucked in the Foliage chippies amongst the blooms and finished each card with a chippie Sentiment from the Card - Word Circle Set - Happy Birthday.

Treasure This Moment - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the first of my DT projects for October for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  I have created a layout.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Photo Adornments - Love Flourish

*6x4 Phrase Stick Set 5

*Frame Handdrawn Heart

*Mini Branches

I have used the gorgeous Mintay 'Cottage Heart' Collection to create the base for my Layout.

I first coloured the Photo Adornment - Love Flourish & Mini Branches chippies with gesso.  Once dry I randomly sprayed Heidi Swapp Blush Color Shine spray onto them.  I coloured the Handdrawn Heart Frame chippies with Jamie Rodgers Cherry Blossom Metallic Wax and the Phrase Stick Chippie I have left raw.  

Under my photo I added a distressed paper square.  I added the large Handdrawn Heart chippie over my photo and the smaller one along the bottom right of my photo.  I added lots of beautiful paper blooms and tucked in the Mini Branch chippies amongst the paper blooms.  I added the Photo Adornment - Love Flourish chippie along the bottom left of my photo and finished of my layout by adding the raw Treasure This Moment Title along the top of my Layout.

Adore - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in to share a bonus DT project for September for 2 Crafty Chipboard.  I have created another layout.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Decorative Circle Accents Set 1

*Mini # Word Set 1

*Thin Square Stacked Frames

*Foliage Set 13

I have used the gorgeous 49 & Market 'Nature's Haven' Collection to create the base for my layout. 

I first gave all my chippie pieces a couple of coats of gesso. Once dry I sprayed the Foliage Leave chippies with Heidi Swapp Chartruse Color Shine and the #Adore & Square Stacked Frame chippies I sprayed with Kaisercraft Candy Iridescent Spray.   I didn't add any colour to the Decorative Circle Accents chippies keeping them the colour of the gesso. 

To construct my page I first added my photo and then added die cut elements from the Nature's Haven Collection around my photo.  I added lots of paper blooms and the Square Stacked Frame chippie over my photo.  I tucked in the Decorative Circle Accents & Foliage chippies amongst the paper blooms.  I finished off my page by adding the #Adore chippie title to the bottom left of my page.

BeeYOUtiful - 2 Crafty Chipboard

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for September for 2 Crafty Chipboard.   I have created a layout for my second share.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*BeeYoutiful Set

*6 x 6 Circle Frame Set

*12 x 12 Weathered Clock Face Frames

I have used the gorgeous 49 & Market 'Botanical Buzz' Collection to create the base for my layout.  

I coloured all the chippie pieces from the BeeYoutiful Set with Golden Glow Opal Polish.  Once dry I randomly dabbed onto some gesso onto the BeeYOUtiful title.  I coloured the assorted circles and the Weathered Clock chippie with Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color Shine.

I added a some distressed paper under my photo and then cut the Weathered Clock chippie in half and added a half under the top and bottom of the distressed paper.  I added lots of paper blooms around my photo and then tucked in the Honeycomb & Bee chippies amongst the flowers.  I added the assorted Circle chippies around the flowers and finished of my page by adding the BeeYOUtiful chippie title along the bottom left of my photo.
